שמחת תורה

Simchat Torah

SIMCHAT TORAH, known as Rejoicing over the Torah, follows Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret and is the last day of this special time to celebrate God’s Goodness.

Simchat Torah, known as Rejoicing over the Torah, is the last day of this special time to celebrate God’s Goodness. This is a time when the Jewish people roll back their Torahs to begin the Scripture readings all over again in Genesis 1:1. For us at Remnant of Israel, this is a joyful time to celebrate God’s Word. We will be rejoicing with song and dance as we form a parade around the synagogue.
